Terms and Conditions

Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern the issuance and use of the National Disability Card, provided by NATIONAL DISABILITY CARD LIMITED ("we," "us," "our"). By applying for or using the National Disability Card, you ("Applicant," "Cardholder") agree to abide by these terms and conditions.

Definitions
Cardholder: The individual to whom the National Disability Card is issued.
Disabled: A person who has a physical or mental impairment that has a substantial and long-term negative effect on that persons ability to do normal daily activities.

Terms of Use
The National Disability Card must display a photograph of the Cardholder and other required information to be valid. The Card is non-transferable and only the Cardholder may use it. While we collaborate with various venues and attractions, acceptance and specific accommodations provided with the National Disability Card may vary. Benefits such as discounts, concessionary rates, or special access (e.g., fast track or queue jump) are at the discretion of each venue. Always check with the venue beforehand.

Disclaimers
The National Disability Card is a form of identification and verification only. It is not a membership service, subscription, or contract for ongoing benefits. Any discounts, concessions, or advantages offered to Cardholders are entirely discretionary and may be withdrawn or changed at any time by participating venues, organisations, or partners. The purchase of the Card does not guarantee access to any specific benefit or service. We do not guarantee that any organisation, venue, or service provider will recognise or accept the National Disability Card. We are not responsible for any loss, cost, or inconvenience arising from the refusal of a third party to accept the Card or honour any associated benefits. The National Disability Card does not function as a disabled parking permit, bus pass, or railcard.

Except where required by law, our total liability to any Cardholder shall not exceed the amount paid for the Card itself. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud. We may update or amend these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Any such changes will take effect immediately upon publication on our website. We may also modify or discontinue any discretionary benefits, offers, or partnerships associated with the Card without prior notice.

Validity and Renewal
The National Disability Card is valid for two years from the date of issue. To renew or replace a lost card, a new application is required, subject to a £20 processing fee.

Shipping Method:
All cards are shipped via Royal Mail 48, which typically delivers within 2-5 working days. Proof of postage is obtained for all shipments. If you require a special delivery service, such as Royal Mail Signed For® or Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed®, this can be arranged upon request, subject to an additional fee.

Delivery Timeframes:
We aim to ensure your card is delivered promptly, typically within 5-10 working days. However, delays may occur due to circumstances beyond our control, such as postal strikes, public holidays, or peak seasonal demand.

Non-Delivery and Replacement:
If your card does not arrive within 10 working days of dispatch, please contact us at info@disabilityid.co.uk. We will investigate the issue and, if necessary, send a replacement card free of charge. Claims made after four weeks from the dispatch date will be subject to a replacement fee of £10 plus postage to cover processing.

Address Accuracy:
It is the Applicant's responsibility to provide accurate address details during the application process. We are not liable for delivery failures due to incorrect or incomplete addresses provided by the Applicant.

Cancellation and Refund Policy for Bespoke Items
The National Disability Card is a bespoke, customised item featuring the Cardholder's personal details. Under Regulation 28(1)(b) of the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, there is no automatic right to cancel or receive a refund once production of your personalised Card has begun. This is because the Card is a customised product made specifically for the individual applicant and cannot be resold or reused.

Corrections and Replacements
Errors Made by Us: If you identify an error on your National Disability Card that is due to our mistake, please notify us within four weeks of receiving your card. We will replace the card free of charge.

Errors Made by the Applicant: If an error occurs due to incorrect details provided during the application process (such as spelling mistakes or an incorrect date of birth), a replacement card can be issued upon payment of a £10 processing fee plus postage. We are not responsible for errors in the spelling of names, dates of birth, or any other personal details entered in the application form. The card is produced based exclusively on the information entered in the application form and will not be taken from any documentation uploaded.

RADAR Key Purchase
Applicants and Cardholders purchasing a RADAR Key certify that they are chronically sick or disabled and that the RADAR key is for their own personal use, and they claim that the supply of it is eligible for relief under group 14 of schedule 5 of the Value Added Tax Act 1983.

Data Protection
We comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and are registered as a Data Processor with reference number ZA733593. For details on how we handle your data, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction
