Terms and Conditions
General
The National Disability Card and the National Carers Card are issued by NATIONAL DISABILITY CARD LIMITED and remain the property of NATIONAL DISABILITY CARD LIMITED.
These Terms and Conditions may be subject to change and we reserve the right to modify the National Disability Card and the National Carers Card and the Terms and Conditions for any reason, without notice at any time.
In applying for the National Disability Card or the National Carers Card, the applicant is deemed to have fully accepted the terms and conditions set out in this document.
Only applicants who are disabled are eligible to apply for the National Disability Card.
Disabled is defined in this document as a person who has a physical or mental impairment that has a substantial and long-term negative effect on that persons ability to do normal daily activities.
Only applicants who are a carer are eligible to apply for the National Carers Card.
A carer is defined in this document as anyone, including children and adults who looks after someone who needs help because of their illness, frailty, disability, a mental health problem or an addiction and cannot cope without their support.
Terms of use
The National Disability Card or the National Carers Card will not be valid unless it displays a photograph of the cardholder along with all other information present on the Card on its issue. The Card is not transferable and only the cardholder shall be entitled to use it.
It's important to note that while we do work closely with numerous venues and attractions, the acceptance and specific accommodations provided with our cards may vary. While some venues, have been collaborative, the final decision on queuing or other adjustments always remains at the discretion of the individual venue or attraction. The National Disability Card or the National Carers Card thefore does not guarantee you discounts, concessionary rates, special access such as fast track or queue jump at any organisation or venue. Such accommodations are at the venue's discretion. We always recommend checking with the specific attraction beforehand to understand their policies and how they accommodate our cardholders.

Consequently, the National Disability Card and the National Carers Card do not guarantee discounts, concessionary rates, or special access like fast track or queue jump at any location. Therefore, before visiting, we always recommend checking with the specific venue or attraction beforehand to understand their policies and how they accommodate our cardholders.
The National Disability Card and the National Carers Card are not part of a disabled parking scheme and must not be used for parking. The National Disability Card is not a bus pass and offers no concession on bus travel. The National Carers Card is not a bus pass and offers no concession on bus travel. The National Disability Card and the National Carers Card are not railcards and offer no concessions on rail travel.
Period of validity
The National Disability Card or the National Carers Card is valid for two years from the date of issue.
Renewal or loss
On expiry of the National Disability Card or the National Carers Card, or where a card has been lost, a new application is required and will cost the £18 processing fee.
RADAR Key Terms of Purchase
If an applicant for a National Disability Card purchases a RADAR Key from National Disability Card Ltd, IP12 1BL, they certify that they are disabled and that the RADAR key is for their own personal use, and they claim that the supply of it is eligible for relief under group 14 of schedule 5 of the Value Added Tax Act 1983.
If an existing National Disability Card cardholder purchases a RADAR Key from National Disability Card Ltd, IP12 1BL, they certify that they are chronically sick or disabled and that the RADAR key is for their own personal use, and they claim that the supply of it is eligible for relief under group 14 of schedule 5 of the Value Added Tax Act 1983.
If an applicant for a National Carers Card or an existing National Carers Card cardholder purchases a RADAR Key from National Disability Card Ltd, 15a Deben Mill Business Centre, Old Maltings Approach, Melton, Woodbridge, England, IP12 1BL they certify that the key will only be used in the performance of their duties as a carer and that they understand that Value Added Tax will be added to their purchase.
Protection of Data
NATIONAL DISABILITY CARD LIMITED is registered as a Data Processor under the Data Protection Act 1998 with the reference number ZA733593.
