The Carers Lanyard
Only available to National Carers Card cardholders
It is more important than ever to be able to show you are a carer and with the new Carers Lanyard you can make sure you stand out. It’s perfect for the things you need to do, like traveling to care for someone or shopping for essential food or medicine for someone who relies on you.
If you would like a lanyard please tick the Carers Lanyard box at the end of the application form when applying for a National Carers Card. The lanyard and rigid card holder costs £5.
What's on the Carers Lanyard?
I don't have a National Carers Card can I still have a lanyard?
No. These lanyards are exclusively for National Carers Card cardholders.
I am already a cardholder can I have a lanyard?
Yes of course please apply here.
I'm a Carer, can I also have a Face Covering Exempt Lanyard?
In line with government guidance updated on 23rd July 2020 you are exempt “if you are travelling with or providing assistance to someone who relies on lip reading to communicate”.
So if that applies to you, you can apply for a Face Covering Exempt Lanyard.
