The National Disability & Carers Card Scheme
The National Disability Card and National Carers Card allow quick and easy visual identification of carers and disabled people to help them show that they may require assistance.
The National Disability Card and National Carers Card scheme is a social enterprise for good that was launched by a family that cares for a disabled daughter with cystic fibrosis. We found that many carers and disabled people do not have any suitable identity documents (ID). The National Disability Card and National Carers Card were created in response to this current lack of ID availability in the UK for carers and disabled people. We are a family business based in Suffolk, England and will send your card as soon as your application is successful. We refund any unsuccessful applications immediately.
Exclusively for cardholders, we provide powerful, colourful lanyards to help send the right message when you need it most. All lanyards come with a rigid card holder for a perfect fit and can be ordered with your card application.
We are excited to announce that after an incredibly successful show at the NEC in Birmingham, we will be exhibiting again in 2022 and look forward to seeing so many of you again soon.
We often work with and advise organisations such as charities and care homes, and our experts are always ready to help with any questions, so do get in touch if you would like to

Social Enterprise for Good
We are committed to the following values in our governance document:
-
Diversity and inclusion is imperative. At least 50% of our workforce are people with disabilities. We think differently about disability and take action to improve how we recruit, retain and develop disabled people. We want to ensure that disabled people have the opportunities to fulfil their potential and realise their aspirations.
-
Environmentally Conscious. Our offices and manufacturing laboratory are powered by 100% renewable electricity, predominately from our onsite solar panels but also from wind and hydro. Additionally, we recycle all of our waste and offer employees green pension funds to help protect the planet.
-
Supporting carers in the workplace. We have a Carers policy to address the needs of people with caring responsibilities and to give carers the ‘right to request’ flexible working. This policy emphasises the benefits of flexible working arrangements, balancing work and personal life and employment breaks.

The Queen's Platinum Jubilee 2022:
Her Majesty The Queen will be the first British monarch to have reached 70 years on the throne. This is a truly historic moment, and the Jubilee will help bring people together and inspire the next generation. We are proud to be part of the celebrations with several events to help highlight the strength of the disabled and caring communities who have suffered so much due to the coronavirus pandemic.
